Mission Bay Neighborhood Association (MBNA) is dedicated to informing, empowering, and representing our community. By becoming a member, you add your voice to our neighborhood, gain voting rights, and help fund community activities and advocacy.
Membership is open to all renters and homeowners of Mission Bay. Don’t live in the boundaries? You can join as a “Friend of MBNA”!
Annual Membership Dues
Our membership cycle runs from May 1 to April 30. (Note: If you join on or after January 1, your dues will completely cover the current year AND the entire following calendar year!)
Individual
$25 / year
For a single resident or single residential property owner within the Mission Bay boundaries.
Household
$40 / year
For two spouses or domestic partners residing together in the same household within Mission Bay.
Friend of MBNA
$25 / year
For interested parties who do not reside within Mission Bay but wish to support and participate in the association.
Discounted dues of $15 are available for individuals based on special circumstances. Please reach out to our Board if you need to utilize this rate.
Membership Rights & Eligibility
To ensure a fair and committed community voice, MBNA observes the following timeline for new members, beginning on the date your first dues payment is received:
- After 30 Days: You gain the right to vote in board elections and make or second motions during membership meetings.
- After 60 Days: You become eligible to be elected to the Board of Directors or appointed as a Committee Chair.
